You may have already been impressed by Hong Kong's Lan Kwai Fong and dazzled by Beijing's Sanlitun bar street, and now you can get a taste of Guangzhou's various clubs and bars. There are three famous bar streets in Guangzhou: Binjiang Lu, Huanshi Lu and Bai'e Tan.

Located by the bank of the Zhujiang River (also called Pearl River), Binjiang Lu Bar Street is featured by a lovely scenery, where you can get a glimpse of the latest fashion trends and meet with the young.

Huanshi Lu Bar Street is situated in the city center of Guangzhou and it is a place favored by the white collars and international friends.

Bai'e Tan Bar Street, located at Changdi Lu on the bank of Bai'e Tan (White Goose Pond), is the most exotic, which may remind you of The Bund in Shanghai. It is a good place to have dinner and have fun. If you are stay late in the night, it is advisable to take a taxi since it is outside the city centre.
