HP Envy 14 Spectre Ultrabook Debut

Recently, HP officially released two laptops at Consumer Electronics Show 2012 including the second-generation Ultrabook, Envy 14. Covering the outer lid and palm rest area as well as the display, Corning’s Gorilla Glass not only improves Envy 14’s outer aesthetic beauty but also makes it resistant to scratches and scuffs.
Allowing a 15-inch 1600 x 900 high definition LED display to fit nicely inside a 14-inch chassis, HP Envy 14 provides a wide viewing angle. And it is even thinner than HP Folio 13 released at the end of last year. With built-in Beats Audio, HP Envy 14 has its multimedia shortcut keys and volume control knob on the right side, along with an independent mute button for convenience. Moreover, the full-sized Beats Solo headphone is adopted, same style as the previous ones.
HP releases two models for Envy 14. One is HP Envy 14-3005TUwith an IntelCorei5-2467M processor, 4GB ofDDR3 and a 128GBmSATA solid-state drive on board while another one is HP Envy 14-3006TU with an Intel Core i7 2677M processor, 4GB of DDR3and a256GB mSATA solid-state drive. Both of them are in black color, boasting Intel HD Graphics 3000andlong-lasting batteries up to 9 hours without recharging.
