Apple to release 7-inch iPad?

Rumors about the upcoming iPad will not die. Some websites and analysts claimed that Apple may release mini iPad to break into 7-inch tablet market in the latter half of the year, after a speculated March launch of 9.7-inch iPad 3.
Gottheil, an analyst of Technology Business Research said to Computerworld: “I believe that’s always been in the plan. Actually that’s a good form factor for some users, and although they will also charge a premium above other similar-sized tablets, they want to protect that price flank.”
This prediction is contradicting the idea of Steve Jobs, who had rejected 7-inchas it is too small to execute software.
However, everything is possible. The hot sales of 7-inch Kindle Fire may intrigue Apple’s new CEO.
