The new Hyundai Santa Fe, or ix45 if you’re talking about the European market, is probably going to be one of the most attractive new vehicles coming this year. As we have expected, the new Hyundai Santa Fe will debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
From the latest spy shots, the all-new 2013 Hyundai ix45 features the six-sided signature grille, giving the new Hyundai family look, and two-tone voluminous bottom car body. The mid-size crossover vehicle also sports wide front bumper and large fog lights with L-shaped LEDs. Besides, the interior of the new Santa Fe is a perfect combination of light beige, dark brown and a garnish of chrome. The inner design is very imaginative due to its barrel-type dashboard and multifunction steering wheel. The new car also adopts EPB, Navigation System, electrically adjustable chairs and so on, making it distinguished and attractive.
Hyundai has not yet to release official technical details about the new ix45, but it is expected that the current 2,2L CRDI diesel will be carried over. Another engine expected to be introduced to the new ix45 is a turbocharged 2.0L gasoline engine, with the output of 278 horsepower. In terms of transmissions, we expect a six-speed manual to remain as standard with a six-speed automatic as an option.
