The 2014 Audi A3 appears to be a cool and classy-looking luxury ride. But if you’re hankering for a hatchback, you’d better not wait for the new model. The next A3 is coming to the U.S. only in sedan format, whereas the 5-door hatchback continues to be offered in Europe. The United States has been a tricky place to trade hatchbacks that are often termed as low-priced or cheap. Premium hatches like the present A3, Volkswagen GTI and Ford have played key role in altering perceptions. Still, automobile manufacturers face trouble convincing people to shell out high amounts for model with lift gate. In fact, this is the key reason why new Audi A3 2014 is the only alternative Americans have been promised. Moreover, the Audi third generation model will share MQB platform with cabriole.

With totally solid lining and very much traditional Germanic outlook, the A3 Sedan will come as a shocker! It will surely catch the consumers’ and critics’ eyes alike with its dazzlingly gorgeous outlook and seductive appearance. It will also include some very cool features that will surely make it a happening talk-of-the-town type car. The sedan will be longer than the previous A3 wagon as the length will stand at 174.8 in. The A3 will also include a hyper cool and solid 408bhp with a bulldozer class 5-cylinder engine for powerful performance.

Although the three-door hatch back is not likely to be sold in USA, it doesn’t mean that the other models would not land on the this market. Other models include a five-door “Sportback” and a convertible model. Apart from this, the new Audi A3 will probably use a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with two variations: one will run on gasoline and the other one will run on diesel.  Rumors are there that Audi will also include an electric-powered and a hybrid engine for this model.

According to Scott Keogh, CEO of Audi selling company in USA, the new A3 will probably become the second most popular model after A4. During the last year, Audi has sold out 6561 A3s on USA market, 1 forth of the sales volume of the contemporary A4.
