Qiwei Electric Appliance Company, Limited is a world-class producer of household electric appliances. It was founded in 1992 in Shunde City, Guangdong Province in Mainland China. The company is currently running two brands – QIWEI and MILDEL – for its products. The Research & Development Department emphasized in developing Green Appliances with Borosilicate Glass since 2009. This material is known to be resistant to thermal shock, more so than any other common glass, and healthy to human beings, less toxic contents than plastics and stainless steels. It has passed the tests of FDA, REACH and RoHS Standards from PONY Testing International Group. The electric glass kettle series are the latest products designed by Qiwei Company. Borosilicate glass is applied to the series. The multifunction glass kettles in the series have gained high degree of recognition in the market. Other popular products from the company are juicers, blenders, meat grinders, and electric ceramic stoves. Since its inception in 1992, Qiwei Company has been competing in the market with the core values of humanity, technology, and creativity. Staying in focus of electric appliances for drinking water throughout the years, it has developed hundreds of distributors nationwide. The company, at the same time, provides OEM/ODM services worldwide. Clients are from well-known domestic electric appliance companies to one’s in Asia and Europe. It was authorized to produce “Zhong Nan Hai” brand electric water thermos by The General Office of the CPC Central Committee. The products were used within the offices of Zhong Nan Hai, Ministry of Public Security, National Defense Headquarters, and the Great Hall of People in Beijing. The company was recognized by the local government and received supports from city development policies. It is an active participator in university-industry collaboration with Shunde Polytechnic, Electric Appliance Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences – Guangdong Office, and South China Electric Appliance Research Center.
