As the boom in the construction industry continues, these countries with the largest populations in the world have excellent prospects for the future.The largest and most important industry platform for this rapidly growing region is bauma China in Shanghai, which will open its gates for the fourth time from 25 – 28 November 2008. bauma China allows manufacturers to showcase their products in a professional setting, acquire new customers and make optimum use of business opportunities.bauma China celebrated its premiere in 2002, and established itself as a key event in Asia from the very beginning. In 2006, more than 80,000 competent Chinese and international trade visitors came to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre to gather information about technological innovations for the construction industry and explore business.

bauma China 2010, the 5th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment, has again broken all records with regard to exhibition space, exhibitor numbers and visitor numbers. Once more, bauma China has further consolidated its position as the leading trade show for the Chinese and Asian construction industry.
“The enormous growth in visitor numbers as well as the outstanding positive feedback from our exhibitors is impressive evidence that bauma China is the leading business platform for the construction industry in China and Asia,” explained Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director of Messe München. And Zhou Weidong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade - Machinery Sub-Council (CCPIT-MSC) summed up: “With the rapid development of China’s construction machinery market, bauma China breaks all records again. Due to the incredibly huge visitor flow, we are sure that both exhibitors and visitors have achieved their expected goal. bauma China was a complete success.”

VISITOR'S PROFILE

More than 150,000 visitors from 165 countries attended this year’s bauma China (2008: 112,674 visitors from 124 countries). This represents an increase of 33 per cent compared to the last edition. After China, the top ten countries and regions of origin among the visitors were Korea, India, Japan, Russia, Malaysia, Brazil, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia – in that order.

All in all, 1,858 exhibitors from 37 countries (2008: 1,608 exhibitors from 30 countries) took part in bauma China 2010. This means not only an increase of 15 per cent in exhibitor numbers but also a broader international spread.

Product Range

The famous exhibitors which are Volvo, XCMG, SANY, LONGKING, and etc are all included in Bauma China 2010 and the updated products show the creativity of each of different exhibitor that represents the attractive scenery ofBauma China.

bauma China 2010, which took place from November 23 to 26, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), is once again proved to be a record event - around 1,700 exhibitors from 30 countries  and the 220,000 square metres of exhibition space was fully booked since spring of this year. This seemed contrary to the economic trend around the world, because the global construction machinery industry has also suffered a decline in orders during the economic crisis of 2009, and is only now slowly picking up. Without a doubt, it’s the very good beginning for construction mach after the crisis.
This time, the whole machine of big brands still take a key role for the show, including Volvo, XCMG, SANY, LONGKING, and etc, while a lot of construction machinery parts start to be another big hot topic, as more and more buyers would like to import & pay great attention on aftermarket maintainance.
