GMC Global Tour - 2010 China International Hardware Show
After the great success at the 2010 Shanghai Expo, the second stop of the GMC Global Tour was opened at the 2010 China International Hardware Show in Shanghai.
It was also the first professional exhibition where the GMC Global Tour was held. For this time, the event was consisted of Product Exhibition Zone, International Buyer Sourcing Salon and GMC Runway Show. Each part promoted the GMC collective brand of Chinese excellent manufacturing in different ways.
On 28th Sep, the Opening Ceremony represented the official start of the GMC Global Tour ?2010 China International Hardware Show. At the Opening Ceremony, Mr Allan Pan, Sales and Marketing Director from GlobalMarket Group (Asia) Ltd, Mr Mathias Kuepper, Project Director from Koelnmesse Co., Ltd and Mr David Tobin, International Marketing Director from Reed Exhibition expressed their best wishes and opened the event together.

The Launching Ceremony
Among all the GMC Global Tour events, Runway Show was one of the highlights. By combining catwalk show, film of publicity and product release, the Runway Show in the GMC Pavilion represented a new pattern of exhibiting, which enable dvisitors to absorb the exhibiting concept and product updates more vividly and comprehensively.
Product Exhibition Zone
The Product Exhibition Zone was divided into three zones: Kitchen, Sanitary and Hardware. There were about 29 GMC high-qualified member manufacturers present and above 40 kinds of products, including kitchen cabinet, bathroom cabinet, faucet, fencing and so on. The exhibition ambassadors would present the products to the buyers and guide them to do the inquiry if they are interested in. So the buyer could know the products directly.
The GMC international sourcing Salon-CIHS station, lasted for 3 days, nearly 30 professional buyers from 15 countries and states participated this amazing activities during the CIHS period. The buyers involved in this Sourcing Salon were very professional and qualified such as Roca, Viega, Muellar, Auchan, Wal-mart, ADEO, Kingfisher, Hafele, Radioshack, Hochtief and so on. Moreover, above 70 suppliers from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Jinhua, Jiangmen(Canton) and Qingdao had live business conversations with the professional merchandisers. Approximately 160 sourcing meetings were held by GlobalMarket (Asia) Group in the China International Hardware show.
