Chigo Win A 200 Million Order

While many manufactures are preparing for the hard time, Chigo Group has good news: Chigo signed a big order with a Turkey electric appliance company on 23rd, November. It’s said that this order amounts nearly 200 million RMB, which will be delivered to client before March 2009. It is the biggest foreign order Chigo ever had since it’s foundation.
"It is really very difficult to win such a big order in this circumstance." Peter Liao, the vice general manager of Oversea Marketing Division seems very excited when he was interviewed by reporter. It is known that lately half month, Peter visited Turkey, Spain, Greece, U.K and European counties. Moreover he really felt that many dealers are suffering great pressure. On one hand, it is predict it would be hot while it turned out the sale is not good as it was expected. Therefore, a lot of clients have 20%~30% storage. On the other hand, a large amount of company have difficulty on collect money for the financial crisis. However, some big steady distributors are not affected very much. And the general demand of AC is still normal, so the sales of AC in 2009 won’t be much different than that of 2008."Beyond economy value, this order has a much more meaning which it could greatly increase the AC confidence in oversea market." Peter said.
In fact, what makes Peter excited is not only this big order, but also the steady growth of Chigo export. It is known that Chigo office get the national approval for exporting AC in 2001, since then the export grows at an extraordinary speed, and already increases 180 times in 7 years. Recently, although the AC export faces huge pressure, Chigo still maintains a good development tendency. According to the Custom Statistic, from January to September this year, the increase rate of national AC export is minus 0.66%, the increase sale rate is 14.03%. Comparing with last year, Chigo’s export quantity and sale increase 50.51% and 55.49%, which are above average and keep first in AC industry.
