Our company

On the one hand, certified GMC Manufactures are able to stand out among the rest, on the other hand, it will be more efficient and time-effective for buyers to screen for the qualified and suitable suppliers.

Till now, GlobalMarket has gained $30 million joint investment from Jafco and other leading venture capitals. We also established solid cooperation with reputable manufactures including Midea, Galanz, Chigo, Aupu Group, JMA Aluminum, Kinwai and, famous global buyers such as GE, Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Home Depot and Auchan.

Core competence

GMC (Global Manufacturer Certificate)

In 2004, GlobalMarket established GMC, the certificate issued for qualified manufacturers who meet the 8 GMC Benchmarks developed via a comprehensive survey involving over 20,000 global buyers. All the GMC manufacturers have been audited on-site by TÜV Rheinland, the world’s leading certification authority.

M2C China

As a leading business-to-business e-commerce platform, now we have some new moves. Considering that in the traditional form of international trade, Chinese manufactures can only take the way of OEM to send their products to consumers through exporters, importers, and wholesalers. To keep abreast of the times, GlobalMarket brings out M2C China, an on-line M2C(Manufactures to Customers)platform set up for qualified Chinese manufactures to extend their distribution channel.
At present, M2C China specializes in textile, furniture, articles of daily use, kitchen&bath, appliance and lamps. Provided by GMC manufactures, all the products are tested and inspected through a strict quality control system.

TRADEEASY.com

GlobalMarket merged with TRADEeasy.com in2008.
TRADEeasy.com is an international trade enabler providing free on-line and off-line sourcing services to a worldwide community of over 350,000 buyers. With over 200 sales and customer service representatives visiting and pre-qualifying over 15,000 suppliers in China every month, it is by far the largest international trade enabler utilizing an ASP model.
International trade has since become a buyer’s market, and this situation is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future. For the sellers, this shift in the balance of power has become a double-edged sword: a near-infinite potential for business, yet comparably fierce competition among peers.

B2S.com

GlobalMarket also merged with B2S.com in 2008.
B2S.com is a renowned trade portal set to promote global trade between worldwide buyers and suppliers in five industries: Electronics, Gifts&Home, Components, Lighting and Home Electrical. We assist suppliers to build up their brands, promote their brand messages and products to worldwide buyers; for buyers, we offer free sourcing tools and personalized sourcing services to help them locate products and suppliers’ information.
Rooted in Hong Kong and with branches in both China mainland and Taiwan, B2S has been growing stronger and stronger since its inception from 1997.

Recognitions

  • I love their idea (GMC). Their idea is to certify manufacturers with quality, the unique idea, quality, environmental, employees, compliance all these things. I like the people in GlobalMarket. I think it’s a great opportunity for China. I think Chinese brands around the world will make the world closer together. I think this is all good start, the small part I can play in helping GMC be strong. They believe in it. I believe in it and I am here to help them. So that’s what’s all about, that’s why I am here.

    ---Jack Welch
    The World’s Legendary CEO

  • In the early days MADE IN CHINA meant less expensive goods, maybe low quality. GMC wants to change that impression so that MADE IN CHINA is the same as saying MADE IN GERMANY…I am so impressed with the work GlobalMarket is doing to improve the image of Chinese goods and services. And I am just delighted to be here and I wish them all the success in the world.

    ---Phillip Kotler
    The Father of Marketing Management

  • To the buyers, a qualification like GMC is very important. There are like tens thousands of factories in China. How to distinguish the genuine qualified factories from the others? Buyer will need to spend a lot of time in screening and selecting suppliers if there were no GMC qualification as our reference. But with GMC it’s much more convenient for us as buyers. I’m more confident to do business with those manufacturers with GMC certificate.

    ---Simon Quan
Ex-president of Home Depot, Greater China

  • GMC has converted the international trading situation from “fighting alone” to “marching as an alliance”... In the process of industrial upgrade and conversion, we need a unified image. Via GMC we managed to do that, delivering the essence of MADE IN CHINA or even the essence of Chinese brands. GMC is crucial throughout the process.
